Service (Nurture) Gifts Romans 12(6a) Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to exercise them accordingly. III. Signature Gifts 1 Cor 12(4-7) 4 Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 And there are varieties of ministries, and the same Lord. 6 There are varieties of effects, but the same God who works all things in all persons. 7 But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.

Grace Gifts of Service Manifest Heaven through the nurture of Faith, Love, and Honor Romans 12(2) And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12(6-10) 6. Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to exercise them accordingly: if prophecy, according to the proportion of his: (1.) faith ; 7 if service, in his serving; or he who teaches, in his teaching; 8 or he who exhorts, in his exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness. 9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another in brotherly ( 2.)love; give preference to one another in (3.)honor.

Better Covenant Love is the Foundation of the New Covenant Old Covenant Love Matt 22:36-40 36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37 And He said to him, “ YOU YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.’ 38 This is the great and foremost commandment. 39 The second is like it, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’ 40 On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.” The First Commandment never changes. New Covenant Love John 13:34 “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. John 15:12 “This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you." 1 John 3:23 This is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us. The Only New Commandment that Jesus Gave.

5. Purposes of Law is Love in the New Covenant JN 13(35) “By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” 1 John 3(24) The one who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. We know by this that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us. Gal 6(2) Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ. ( Jesus's Law of Love )

6. Witness's of Love not Condemnation Matt 28(16-19 ) 16. But the eleven disciples proceeded to Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had designated. 17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some were doubtful. 18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, ''All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” 1 Cor.13(4-8a) 4. Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, 5 does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, 6 does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8a Love never fails.

7. 3. Honor is the Kingdom's Currency 1 Cor.12(22-26) 22. ''On the contrary, it is much truer that the members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary; 23 and those members of the body which we deem less honorable, on these we bestow more abundant honor, and our less presentable members become much more presentable, 24 whereas our more presentable members have no need of it.'' But God has so composed the body, giving more abundant honor to that member which lacked, 25 so that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another. 26 And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.

8. Gifts of service exemplify His Grace through His strength which empowers us through faith to serve, honor, and nurture one another through Love. Because of our obedience to the Law of Christ, the New Commandment: "Love one another as I have loved you,'' we Glorify God through Jesus,which is the true manifestation of the Kingdom. 1Peter 4 (8-12) 8.Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins. 9 Be hospitable to one another without complaint. 10 As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 11 Whoever speaks, is to do so as one who is speaking the utterances of God; whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving by the strength which God supplies; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever.
