WHAT IS OUR GOAL? As The LCCH (CoC), our goal is to bring our governance documents into compliance for greater transparency amongst community members, to compete effectively with other CoC’s for competitive funding, and to follow best practices of governance.

WHERE ARE WE IN THE PROCESS? Creation of Group √ Volunteer’s for Group √ Meetings √ Draft to Board √ Draft to full CoC Open for comments

FEATURES OF THE LILLY MODEL All full members are LCCH Board members with voting privileges. Tasked with approving LCCH work. The Coalition Council is made up of 4 executive officers and each Committee chair. Tasked with steering LCCH work. Each member sits on at least one Committee, and each committee elects a chair from within. Tasked with carrying out LCCH work.

FEATURES OF THE LADDER MODEL All full members are part of the LCCH with voting privileges. Tasked with electing LCCH Board. The LCCH Board is comprised of elected representatives, and appoint officers internally from elected members. Tasked with approving and steering LCCH work. LCCH committees are chaired by a person appointed by the Board. Tasked with carrying out LCCH work.
