23 Storing the future Village Aggregation Centres Financing-Bank Storage-Warehousing Farmer/ trader/cooperative 1.Storage/Warehousing company is licensed and registered. It charges storage fees (per month/season and per MT) 2.On deposit of grain/cereals farmer obtain a “storage receipt” 3.Farmer is paid upfront 80% of the value of the grain as at deposit time and 20% after grain is sold and some profit shared. 4.Warehouses can be linked online using SMS and/or IT 80% payment and 20% After grain is sold and Part of the profit shared
