13 Active Shooter Situations are generally over with in 8-10 minutes. Running your best option. Where would you go? Outside of the building and wait for further directions? Vehicle? Hiding: What to look for? Rooms with locking doors Solid walls No windows if on lower levels Large pieces of furniture to block off entry Lights off, low to the ground, and silence. Fight: In a college setting we have one thing on our side NUMBERS!!!
