6 Each student will write a poem. The poems should be about the same topic because when the podcast is presented in class, the students will be able to compare and contrast their poems. The writing process takes a few days to allow the students to create their best work. The teacher's role in this activity is to have a conversation with each of their students. Since the poems are only going to be on display orally, grammar and spelling are not the main focus. However, for practice purposes, teachers should suggest students to write correctly. The students will then record their poems into the podcast with expression.
