Torquay Natural History Museum By Matthew Scrace and Rachel Snell

On Wednesday we woke up and had breakfast and went and got dressed. We got on the coach outside of the Great Western Hotel and set off for an action packed day at the Torquay natural history museum. The building was very old and very interesting. We waited outside in the boiling hot weather for a few minutes for the museum to open, before finally entering. From outside it looked quite boring but when we got in we were corrected.

The first Floor! When we entered the 1 st floor we looked around and saw something like a bone hanging on the door we found out it was the tusk of a Narwhale and it can grow from up to 3 metres long. We saw a statue of Charles Darwin’s head (boy it was big!)

Charles Darwin. People said he said primates evolved into humans (and it did not go down well with the public.) – in fact he didn’t say this but they were still rude to him

We finished off the visit by having drinks and going upstairs to see the Egyptians and other things. Then we went off to Kent's Cavern and then went back to the hotel, had dinner and watched truckers. Me (Matthew) and John fell asleep before going to bed (Luckily Mrs Ford woke us up after these pictures were taken) Last page!

Thank you for watching our presentation. Bye!
