1 Hong Kong Red Cross “Pass-it-On 2013” Charity Sale Fundraising Campaign

2 The biggest annual fundraising campaign of HKRC, and this is the 11 th year of the campaign Theme ︰ “Love to Share, Share to Love” The Campaign aims at encouraging students not only to care and share love to their loved ones, but also extend the love to the vulnerable. In 2013, over HK$3million donation was raised. In School section over 4,600 charity sales items were purchased All proceeds raised will be used to support & sustain the humanitarian works of HKRC “Pass-it-on 2013”

5 A set of 4, include Red, Blue & Black ball pen and a mechanical pencil 11cm Height x 17cm Width Charity Price: HK$68 Gifted Can be purchased as Gifted item Red Cross  Bear Buddies pen set

6 After purchasing the Red Cross  Bear Buddies, you may re-gift it via HKRC to the underprivileged across the world In 2012, 603 pieces of “Red Cross  SillybIlly Bear” were donated by School section Gifted Bear

7 HKRC will provide Posters, Order Record Form, Parent Notice sample, 1 set sample of Red Cross  Bear Duet and Red Cross  Bear Buddies NOW - 18 Oct 2013 Registration Deadline: NOW - 18 Oct 2013 18 Oct – 22 Nov 2013 In-school charity sales period: 18 Oct – 22 Nov 2013 School do not need to stock up the items, only need to fill in the order form and then HKRC will deliver according to the quantity ordered Ordered items will be delivered before 13 Dec 2013 (Please submit the order record form at the earliest possible to avoid any delivery delay) Charity Sale Competition – School Section

8 Mobilize students to assist in the campaign in order to train up their leadership skills Encourage students and parents to order the charity sales items Schools can support via different promotion channels, such as appealing at school assemblies, lunch breaks, parent’s association and through school notices, etc If school holds charity sales counters, this could count into the service hours of Red Cross members “Order Record Form”- please input the order and donor information by computer Collect all proceeds and send to HKRC by cheque or pay-in- slips together with the order form by post and also email Distribute items and donation receipts to students Role of School

10 All the school which join Pass-it-On 2013 Charity Sale Competition will be announced in Facebook and Website Winning schools will be acknowledged in a local newspaper Winning schools will be invited to the “Pass-it-On Award Presentation Ceremony” to be held in late February 2014 Acknowledgement arrangement
