2 Bees are a very important part to the garden and the plants in the garden. The most important thing that they do is transfer pollen from one plant to another.

3 How much do bees do?  While foraging for nectar and pollen, bees inadvertently transfer pollen from the male to the female components of flowers. Each year, bees pollinate 95 crops worth an estimated $10 billion in the U.S. alone. All told, insect pollinators contribute to one-third of the world's diet. The Buzz About Bees The Buzz About Bees

4 About the Hive A hive is where bees live. This is where they do a lot of their work and this is where the honey is stored. This bee is collecting pollen.

Bee pollen rejuvenates your body, stimulates organs and glands, and brings about a longer life span.
