2. W HEN WAS THE NEWSPAPER INVENTED ? The newspaper was invented around the time of 59 B.C in Rome, newspapers were large white boards that were put in public areas where the citizens could read them. However, there has been a lot of arguing over if that was the correct time when the news paper was invented. In the 8 th century the Chinese made handwritten sheets featuring the news.

3. W HAT IS THE PURPOSE OF NEWSPAPER ? The point of having newspaper is to, well, get news out to people! They can tell you the weather for the week, what’s happening in your town and other parts of the province. They tell about upcoming events. The supply you with coupons from your local supermarket. They tell you a lot of stuff!

4. W HO WAS THE INVENTOR OF THE N EWSPAPER ? Well, the first recorder name was Kaiyan Za Bao, who invented handwritten new sheets in 18 th century China. The first newspaper came right after the first printer press was invented. It was Johann Gutenburg who invented the printing press.

5. W HAT ARE NEWSPAPERS MADE OF ? Newspapers are made from paper, and what is paper made of ? Baby souls. Just kidding! Paper is made of a combination of trees, water, sodium sulfide, and caustic soda!

6. N EWSPAPER E VOLUTION The very old newspapers were made out of a cotton and linen rags, which were boiled to a pulp and dried between pieces of felt. They were slightly thick and have a rather rough feel to them. The newer model are made of a cheap wood pulp blend. That gave the paper and thinner and smoother appearance!

8. T HE FUTURE OF THE NEWSPAPER ? Well, I think there will be no other improvements for the newspaper. However I do hope an improvement for the newspaper is that the publish more comics!
