11 TACKING From the point where you have luffed head to wind Until you are pointing at your new course or close hauled

12 CLEAR AHEAD/ASTERN From rearmost part At 90 Degrees

13 BEARING AWAY Turning Away from the Wind

14 ON A TACK (By reference to Port or Starboard)

15 WINDWARD/LEEWARD is of course to windward

16 PROPER COURSE Any course that you might reasonably take.

17 MARK of the course An object (buoy or boat or other object) having a required side) Anything permanently attached to it above the waterline
