A Look Back Step Up 2013-2014 Results Learning Instantly Mission Possible: Knock out Bullying Share A Smile Learning Instantly: an idea to help students learn through a different method- from another student through videos and interactive quizzes. Mission Possible: Knock Out Bullying: Our goal is to raise awareness about bullying and come up with solutions to get rid of it. Share A Smile: an organization of friends coming together in an attempt to change the world with one act of kindness.

13. Tips and Lessons Learned

14. Go Low-Tech  Use effectively.  Put yourselves in the judge’s shoes. Ex: hard for judges to hear videos.  Connect with the judges and communicate your purpose, method, and outcomes verbally.  Do not rely on technology, handouts, and displays to do that job for you.  Keep the authenticity in your display.

15. Ask for Help  Use a trusted adult or two to bounce ideas off of as needed throughout the process.  If you need an advisor, let us know.  Ask for other connections.

16. Lessons Learned “Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.” ― Thomas A. Edison  Don’t get discouraged by setbacks in your project. Many of the most successful people in the world had many setbacks before their success.  Use a team approach. Divide tasks based on strengths and weaknesses, but always remember you are working as a TEAM towards a common goal.
