3. Jeannine Huffman I am so thrilled to be at San Onofre as your child’s teacher. I have been with the district for 6 years. I have had an opportunity to work at all our elementary schools and I believe I’m at the best one. I have taught jumpstart kindergarten to grade 6 and kindergarten is my favorite. I am a credentialed teacher with 1 remaining masters class from National University which I will completed next month. I am a mom to 2 sons who also attend school here. They are in 3 rd and 7 th.

6. Behavior Chart and Rewards Positive Reinforcement If your child doesn’t finish their work or misbehaves they will lose playtime. After 10 happy days they will go to the treasure box. Students will evaluate themselves daily no chart will come home.

9. Homework Policy Please read with your child every night. Practice the 31 kindergarten sight words and they will be periodically tested. If you want additional work for your child have them choose a link from my website to do on the computer.

10. Kindergarten Sight Words I expect most of my kindergarten students will be reading soon. Please practice their weekly words with them. If they pass they will go on to the next group of words.
