2 Projects Cost depends on the particular type and size of project and materials used. You will be responsible for all costs associated with your project including entry fees Projects built for others will be paid for by them. You Must be Quality Counts Certified through 4-H/FFA

3 Shows and Entries EC FFA Chapter Show Bexar County Show – www.bcjls.comwww.bcjls.com San Antonio – www.sarodeo.comwww.sarodeo.com Houston – www.rodeohouston.comwww.rodeohouston.com Possibility of other shows we can/will attend ALL entries will be done on the following dates: Oct. 7 th (4:30 – 7:00) Chapter show, Bexar Co., Ft. Worth Nov. 4 th (4:30 – 7:00) All other major shows

4 Show Rules We will cover each shows rules when we begin building the projects. Rules are generally the same across the board as far as construction, exhibition, and requirements for each show

5 Show Dates EC FFA – Dec 18 th – 19 th Bexar County – Dec 30 th – Dec 31 st Ft. Worth – Jan 15 th – 18 th ******* San Angelo – Feb 16 th – 18 th San Antonio – Feb 26 th – Feb 28 th Houston – Mar 18 th – 20 th

6 Travel You are responsible for your hotel (including reservations and payment) Plan and make reservations early A total of 10 days are permitted/year for students to be out for all school related activities through school sponsored events PLAN - PLAN - PLAN your dates! This includes all school activities (athletics, UIL, 4-H and FFA. We all pull from the same 10 days)

7 Projects Any project you want to enter/show will be supervised by Mr. Cleveland, whether it is built at school or home Projects must be the work of the student/s All projects shown must match the categories available at the show (I will help you when entering) I expect all projects shown to be constructed at a competitive level. We will not haul projects that are not. You will be responsible for entry fees and other costs associated with showing your project

8 Exhibition of Projects Exhibitors must be with their projects during the judging process…the welding contest is over now it is a PR contest Exhibitors need to dress appropriately during this time. Proper dress: Long sleeve, button up shirt; nice jeans (no holes), NO hats/caps Criteria Points: Workmanship (including finish) Design and Materials Used (including practicality) Documentation Degree of Difficulty Knowledge of Project (response to questions)
