6 TASK: Rewrite the following sentences using the appropriate punctuation: hamlet was written by shakespeare the teacher announced were going to have an exam next week he didnt study at all but still got 8 in the test ---------------- ‘Hamlet’ was written by Shakespeare. 7 TASK: Rewrite the paragraph introducing appropriate punctuation : Im quite glad youre asking us to write about ourselves as writers Ive always loved writing Ive loved it since i was a child when i write i seem to be able to free a part of me that does not come out easily otherwise writing allows me to admit things that are difficult to express in spoken words the thing is its mei always write to nobody usually reads me and i dont think i would really like it if they did either

9 Revising and Proofreading Revision of an essay is not simply proofreading Proofreading is checking over a draft to make sure that everything is complete and correct as far as spelling, grammar, sentence structure, punctuation, and such matters Revision is how you see things, deciding whether your essay has an introduction, body and conclusion, and really expresses your view.
