Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
GODS INTENT AND PURPOSE 1. Understanding the Feast of Pentecost. 2. Jesus modeled and lived it.
UNDERTANDING PENTECOST THREE MAJOR FEASTS Exodus 23:14-16 Passover Pentecost Feast of Harvest / Feast of Weeks Tabernacles
RAINS AND HARVESTS Deuteronomy 11:14 That I will give [you] the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn (grain), and thy wine, and thine oil. Two great seasonal rains – first/latter. Two great harvest seasons – fall/spring. Rains and harvests were inseparable. One was the precursor of the other. No rain - no harvest. Pentecost was in spring/grain (barley-wheat) harvest. It never rains in Israel outside of the seasons.

Matthew 9:37,38 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly [is] plenteous, but the labourers [are] few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. John 4:35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and [then] cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white (ripe) already to harvest.
