2.  The radio is a device that is used to listen to music, weather reports, radio shows, and the news.  The radio is used for many things. Such as fun, helping you know what the weather is like, and helps you get around traffic.

3.  The radio was on the way to being invented by one inventor by the name of Guglielmo Marconi. He invented the spark transmitter that would soon make the radio. He invented it in 1894.  Although the radio wasn’t complete Guglielmo Marconi filed for a patent number for his spark transmitter.. He got the patent number on June 2,1896

4.  The man who would soon help invent the radio was Guglielmo Marconi. He invented the spark transmitter at his house in Bologna, Italy. But soon after in 1906 Fessenden invented the AM radio. Soon after many inventors in many different years started improving the radio.  When he was a young boy he always had an interest in science and electricity. He started to do experiments in his home.

5.  The radio is something fun. Most people listen to it if they are on long trips or just going around the corner.  When it was first invented it looked different and they didn’t have as many stations as they had today. Now we have FM and AM. They used to have only AM.  The radio owes its development to two other inventions. The telegraph and the telephone.
