For example, some students have to take care of younger siblings, children, and themselves. If they are capable of handling the stress of these issues, they are more than capable of choosing their own outfits for school. High school is supposed to prepare students for adulthood. Most of the time, fights are started over personal issues, relationships, and other problems. They are created by “he said, she said” issues that normally have nothing to do with what the students are wearing. It reminds me of the well-known quote, “Guns don’t kill people, people do.” This is the same situation. The clothes do not cause the students to fight; the students do.
