3. FERCO Who are we?

4. FERCO We represent 22 billion euro of turnover 600,000 direct jobs. We provide 1 in 4 meals eaten outside the home We serve 67 million consumers a day.

5. FERCO Contract catering has the following characteristics: -based on a written contract -provides a clearly defined clientele, -on the premises of the client organisation -is organised according to the specific requirements of each organisation -applies a social price.

6. FERCO Social Contribution A meal at the workplace at a social price is today social right that has been earned. Contract catering offers healthy, balanced and varied meals, it plays a role in national health policy.

8. FERCO The Association was founded on 5 October 2004 by 13 founders, with the intention to function as an umbrella organisation for the employers of the whole hospitality sector. We have members from the various segments. These are: 1. Contract catering, 2. Hotels 3. Fast food service companies, 4. Travel Agencies, 5. Event organizers, 6. Restaurants, pubs and bars, 7. Vending We have created in January 2005 the Contract Catering Platform.
