Workflow Session Requirements over Scenarios: –End-to-end scenarios should include Data requirements: –archived data –to be acquired »systematic »tasked –From satellite (Optical, Radar, Meteorological,…) –In-situ –Geospatial and other (demographic, protected areas, etc…) User Requirements on –data access (which data sources, update frequency, quality,…) –results and information exploitation (output formats, presentation requirements,…) Interaction Diagrams indicating actors, endpoints, operations to be supported by the Workflow

Workflow Session Issues: –how to avoid data source duplication when global, regional or local authorities may be harvesting the same source. –Latency: how to ensure that end-to-end scenarios can cope with delays, … –Compensation for faults and unexpected events i.e. alternative flows –Persistence: i.e. storage of processed data and association of relevant metadata (e.g. by using WFS)
