9. Step 1: August Initial Planning Meeting with Science Teachers Locate a place in the community that is central to your school – We chose the Civic Center – BOOK IT – you will need 2 days. Step 2: August/September Teaching the inquiry process – Students are told about the upcoming expo and given the expectations/categories. Science Research Proposal should be completed and due by the end of September.

10. Step 3: October/November Bi-weekly Log Book Checks Math teachers are working on graphing and data interpretation Language teachers are working on citing sources of information and abstracts Social studies can help students with the research elements of the project Step 4: November/December In-house student gallery walk Begin final preparations for the Exposition
