4 Project History In a response to market demand, Innovative Management Solutions Inc. developed this course in co-operation with the Canada Safety Council It meets the needs of organizations that want to have safer drivers It also meets the needs of organizations that want to have more environmentally responsible drivers Everybody wins!!

5 What is e-Learning? It is…  the latest training industry buzzword  a philosophy of adult education that recognizes that all forms of learning have a part in a modern organization  the use of computers and connectivity to maximum benefit, while still providing for human interaction  not just CD ROM or computer based training (CBT)

6 Advantages of e-Learning There are many reasons to go online:  Self-Paced Instruction – students proceed at their own pace, but everyone is tested the same way  Access – e-Learning is accessible 24/7 via the Internet  User Tracking – students see their progress as all information is tracked  Reduced Costs – it costs less than classroom training regardless of student location  Review and Reinforcement – an excellent resource tool after completion
