AREA-BASED WORKING Area based working will increase focus on the integration of service delivery at local level, increase efficiency and more importantly will ensure that Children, Young People and their families receive services in a joined up way Delivery style: Multi-Disciplinary Teams with LOTS around the County (Local Operation Teams) – Targets local needs more efficiently

8. NCC CONTRACTS Area based contracts: Kettering & Corby Wellingborough & East Northants Daventry & South Northants Northampton Countywide: Youth Academy

9. GOVERNMENT TARGETS Recorded Outcomes Accredited Outcomes Volunteering Engagement in positive activities (Includes specialised services such as counselling, information & advocacy) Participation

10. IDENTIFYING NEEDS How do we ensure appropriate and effective services are provided via commissioning? SPECIFICATION DEVELOPMENT Information gathered to identify needs and your organisations aims/objectives/targets are used to write a specification The specification is used to develop questions for service providers to assess their abilities and capacity to deliver Provide Children & Young People with the specifications developed.
