2 Introduction Deforestation is very bad problem for the world. It affects land, animals and persons around the world. With this work we want to help people to be more conscious about this problem and reflect about our responsibility to stop it.

3 What is Deforestation? Deforestation is the permanent destruction of the forests and woodlands. The term does not include the removal of industrials forests such as plantations of gums or pines.

4 Why are forests important? Almost one-third of the earth’s land is covered with forest. They house over 60% of the worlds biodiversity. They provide human beings with many products. They play very important ecological roles.

10 What can we do to help? Recycle all the paper you use at home, school or work. Reduce the amount of paper you use, use both sides of the paper, and print documents only if it is necessary. Reuse the wood you have (construction,furniture, etc.) Plant seeds and trees and take care of them.

12 Conclusions Deforestation is a serious problem for the world that has to stop. If we don’t do something to stop deforestation people in the future won’t know beautiful landscapes and animal species. There should be more laws to protect forests to help stop deforestation around the world. We all can do something to help, no action is insignificant. Together we will make a difference!
