THEN 1.Class Check ! 1.Clear your desk of everything except your write book. 2.Put your pencil under your desk. 3.Use a highlighter, maker, or pen to grade. 1.Highlighters are at the student center if you need one. 4. for correct and X for incorrect. 5.Volunteers will label the clauses on the dry erase board. 6.We will decide if they are correct as a class.

Section –Report the definition to the class. –Draw a stick person representation of both complex and compound sentences. ( HINT ) Think about the different clauses and if they can or cannot stand alone.
