Activities – Part A, Part A electives & Part B Part A and Part B are compulsory Activity is in four parts: Objective, Instructions, Toolkit and reflections Scoring parameters – Part A = 40%, Part A electives = 20 % & Part B = 40%

Part A – Understanding biodiversity in our environment (40%) Compulsory activities – Environment as shared space, Biodiversity among leaves, Leaf munchers, Biodiversity and changes in environment and What have we learnt? Elective activities – Build your own terranium, Freshwater aquarium and Interview (20%) Part B – The world of biodiversity (40%) Compulsory activities – The world of biodiversity and Opening the world of biodiversity Activities – Objective, Instructions, Toolkit and reflections

Role of Teachers Role of teachers –
Teachers must play a supervisory role. Provide guidance, connect the activities, facilitate discussions, encourage interactions, build connections with disciplines Sources of Information – Sources of information could be resource books, experts, local nursery, Internet, Newspapers and also teachers. Primary and Secondary information – First hand and second hand information. How much time will be needed – Ideally, Part A activities and documentation would take each team about 6 weeks, with approximately 2-3 hours per week for a team of 5 students.

Useful Specific pointers...
Part A – Story telling, Poems, Drawings, Illustrations, Photographs, Videos, Data charts, Graphs and other innovative means could be used but one should loose focus of the core task. Part A elective activities - Complete only one of the three elective Part B - Part B requires a different approach from Part A. The purpose of Part B is to connect what you learn about biodiversity in Part A to the larger context and to other domains.

Genuineness displayed in documentation, observations recorded, data provided and other evidences of carrying out the activity sincerely Creativity and diversity in documentation Sense of understanding displayed in documentation Display of interconnectedness between activities Drawing interconnections between issues Understanding of sustainability Understanding, thought and presentation of diverse perspectives to issues raised in Part B

Wipro earthian internship Business School Sustainability Symposium For students from winning institutes, earthian offers a diverse and unique range of sustainability related internship opportunities that can be undertaken for a period of two months. These internships are offered in partnership with our highly reputed partner organizations who are domain specialists in sustainability and related areas. It is a great opportunity to engage with students and expose them to interesting paradigms, schools of thought, innovations and specializations in the sustainability arena As a part of our long term vision to further sustainability education in India, WIPRO and IIMB have embarked on a broad collaboration of which am integral part is the curation of national forum of leading Business Schools from across the country on the topic of `Symposium on Advancing Sustainability Research and Education´ This forum will also act as a platform for Business school faculty to share their learning experiences in sustainability.
