4 + Japanese History of E-Waste Recycling System 1970 began treating the E-waste differently from other materials 2001, the Law for the Promotion of Effective Utilization of Resources (LPUR). October, 2003, taxes were imposed on any computer purchased after that date 2009, the Law for the Recycling of Specified Kinds of Home Appliances (LRHA).

7 + So What? Many of the E-waste can be reused and recycled Japan has lows to reduce e-waste, LPUR and LRHA. Japanese computer companies are also trying to reduce the e-waste with creative ideas
