4 How It All Began Vidant Medical Center became interested in improving the donation process internally and wanted to know what efforts were being made within the hospital to raise community awareness. CDS’ Hospital Development Specialist and Community Relations Coordinator partnered with the Donor Resource Team to form a public education subcommittee. The Workplace Partnership for Life hospital campaign provided the opportunity for our team to highlight the public education efforts already in progress and develop new outreach campaigns.
