ETHOS  NASA  Ethos- The Author establishes good intent by telling us what is happening and why it is bad for us and our environment, they give us eye popping evidence about how our climate and planet has changed because of the greenhouse effect  Wall street Journal  Ethos- The Author establishes perceived intelligence, by giving a lot of detail and the back that up with scientist's names and quotes from there experiment's.

PATHOS  NASA  Pathos- The Audience being targeted by this author and this article are people who are willing to listen and believe that our planet is changing and the word greenhouse effect in the article is explaining how and why it is changing.  Wall Street Journal  Pathos- The audience targeted in this article are people who are worried and curious about the causes of climate change and people in politics, because they give a lot of political statements and people in political power statements.

LOGOS  NASA  Logos- The main claim of this article is the facts and the evidence that these NASA scientist's have found by doing research about global warming over the past 20 years and they are claiming that humans have played a major role in our climate change.  Wall Street Journal  Logos- There main claim is that Humans are not the cause of global warming and that global warming isn't even happening its just our planets positioning, they back that up with facts and statement claims from different scientist's.

KAIROS/TELOS  NASA Article  Kairos- Scientist's have recorded data over the last 250 years on how the climate has changed over time and the effects it has had on the people and other mammals in different environments around the world.  Telos- The attitude of this argument is a warning that if we do not make a change quickly our environment will continue to spiral downhill.  Wall Street Journal  Kairos- This article Time line focuses more on what's happening right now with our climate they don't show and talk about any data in the past or over 100 years old.  Telos- The attitude and purpose of this article is to try and settle a growing number of panicking people across the US, that fear that people have something to do with Global warming at temperature change, they use scientists quotes and names to help back up there claims.

NASA VS WALL STREET JOURNAL  NASA  The NASA articles focus more on data and charts that they visually show you how our climate has changed over the past 250 years, they show how it has worsen since humans have grown with technology, they don’t come out and directly say that Humans are to blame for global warming, but they do provide strong evidence that we are the reason for this extreme change.  Wall Street Journal  The wall street journal dose not show any data or graphs they give a lot of scientists names and quotes from multiple scientists and they mostly focus on the political side of this climate change debate stating that humans have nothing to do with climate change and that people do not need to panic, and at the end of the article they have 16 scientists signatures so people will think it is legitimately accurate.

WORD  Greenhouse Effect  A phenomenon in which the atmosphere of a planet traps radiation emitted by its sun, caused by gases such as carbon dioxide, water vapor, and methane that allow incoming sunlight to pass through but retain heat radiated back from the planet's surface.  Synonyms  Fever, Hot weather, Warmth, Calefaction, Fieriness, Hotness, Swelter.
