Past and Scope of Future activities Since 1983 the mission has remained the same 3 decades of promoting the use of computers: from very enthusiastic beginning to the current maturity (sophisticated methods and software) Scope of Chemical Engineering has grown too: from conventional Chemical Engineering to Product, Environmental (Sustainable), Biochemical, Food Engineering Life Sciences are increasingly more integrated in our study programs.

18. Past and Scope of Future activities (c.) EURECHA is adapting to new conditions: Widening scope of EURECHA activities. Promote development and exchange of new software. Especially for topics that have not gained adequate support from professional developers. Aid to the implementation of Bologna process. ”LEARNING OUTCOMES” related to the use of computers, e.g. ability of: using basic existing software at the first cycle using advanced software at the second cycle and innovative development of new software at the PhD cycle.
