2 Tension The Cold War-a state of tension and hostility without conflicted army; was between the years 1945-1991. Included United States and Soviet Union Democracy vs. Communism S.U. built a wall-Berlin Wall Made to separate Democracy from Communism and blockade other countries from seeing what S.U. was doing.

3 COLD WAR  Soviet Union was trying to expand nation  Make other countries Communist  United States didn’t want this  Thought it is a bad thing and will hurt other countries- Did not want other nations to be Communist  Truman Doctrine-Gave outside nations money to transform them.

7 Images Russia’s lower parliament chamber during a session, interacting and talking with the U.S. U.S. and Russia committing to disregard any past relations with each other-treaty to limit nuclear warheads. U.S. and Russian troops carrying their flags in a march for remembrance of U.S. and Russian Arms treaty.
