3  Covenant - “An agreement between two or more persons to do or not do something specified.”  Hebrews 10:16-17  God’s Covenant to Moses  Exodus 23:23-30 – “You shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water”

4  God’s Covenant with Moses  Exodus 24:3-8 – “All that the Lord has said we will do, and be obedient.”  Our Commitment to must be described as “Obeying at His Word.”  Jeremiah 42:2-6 – “Whether it is pleasing or displeasing, we will obey the voice of the Lord our God”

12  Hebrews 13:20-21 – “to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight”  I John 3:22 – “do those things that are pleasing in His sight”  NOT: John 12:42-43 – “they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God”

13  Doing what is Right  Seeking to Please  Fulfilling Our Duty

14  Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 – “Fear God and Keep His commandments, For this is man’s all”  Luke 17:7-10 – “We have done what was our duty to do”  I Corinthians 6:18-20 – “you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body”

15  Are you “Doing what is Right”?  Are you “Seeking to Please God”?  Are you “Fulfilling your Duty”?  Are you “Obeying God at His Word”?  Why not this morning? Why not now?  II Corinthians 6:2 – “now is the accepted time”

16  Hear the Word of God (Acts 18:8)  Believe in Jesus (Mark 16:16)  Repent of Sins (Acts 2:38)  Confess Faith in Christ (Acts 8:37-38)  Be Baptized in Water (Galatians 3:26-27)  Remain Faithful (Revelations 2:10)  If err, repent and pray to God (Acts 8:22)
