Covenant - “An agreement between two or more persons to do or not do something specified.” Hebrews 10:16-17 God’s Covenant to Moses Exodus 23:23-30 – “You shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water”

God’s Covenant with Moses Exodus 24:3-8 – “All that the Lord has said we will do, and be obedient.” Our Commitment to must be described as “Obeying at His Word.” Jeremiah 42:2-6 – “Whether it is pleasing or displeasing, we will obey the voice of the Lord our God”

Ephesians 4:20-24 – “put on the new man… in true righteousness and holiness” Where do we look in “Doing what is Right”? II Timothy 3:16-17 – “All scripture… is profitable… for instruction in righteousness” Psalm 19:7-10 – “The statues of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart”

Deuteronomy 6:1-3 – “be careful to observe it” 17-18 – “you shall do what is right and good in the sight of the Lord” 24-25 – “it will be righteousness for us, if we are careful to observe” Deuteronomy 7:9-12 – “you listen to these judgments, and keep and do them” Deuteronomy 8:1 – “Every commandment which I command you today you must be careful to observe”

II Corinthians 5:9 – “we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him” Colossians 1:9-10 – “that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him” I Thessalonians 2:4 – “even we speak, not as pleasing men, but God” Acts 5:29 – “we ought to obey God rather than man”

Hebrews 13:20-21 – “to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight” I John 3:22 – “do those things that are pleasing in His sight” NOT: John 12:42-43 – “they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God”

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 – “Fear God and Keep His commandments, For this is man’s all” Luke 17:7-10 – “We have done what was our duty to do” I Corinthians 6:18-20 – “you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body”

Are you “Doing what is Right”? Are you “Seeking to Please God”? Are you “Fulfilling your Duty”? Are you “Obeying God at His Word”? Why not this morning? Why not now? II Corinthians 6:2 – “now is the accepted time”

Hear the Word of God (Acts 18:8) Believe in Jesus (Mark 16:16) Repent of Sins (Acts 2:38) Confess Faith in Christ (Acts 8:37-38) Be Baptized in Water (Galatians 3:26-27) Remain Faithful (Revelations 2:10) If err, repent and pray to God (Acts 8:22)
