1. ZDC Crane Status 9 Feb 2012, Michael Murray

2. Test at SX5 Last week the ZDC was taken out via a forklift. Tunnel access closes at 5pm on the 21 st Before the crane can be installed it must be tested on a platform at SX5 This platform was finished today so Paul can now put the crane together There is still a lot to do and Paul is not sure that he can have a test by 18 th or so.

3. Sarcos The feet of the sarcophagi were designed for hand transpallets but forklift had wider feet. The feet are being modified. Sarco 3 is at SX5. The inner mold used to support the slot when the concrete is poured is too difficult to remove. We are modifying this to make it easier to take out Sarco 4 coming

4. Documentation Most of the required documents exist at least in outline form but we need some input from Paul on the lifting mechanism and the rotating carrage Paul also needs to send all the FEA calculations to CERN engineers to review Finally we can check our radiation calculations against measurements of the ZDC activation. This work is ongoing.
