Outreach Campaigns WFAA.com banners  November outreach featuring Thanksgiving turkey:  Total cost $4,000 (roughly $0.012 per impression)  Format: ad banner with linked flash page to generate 335,000 impressions per month on WFAA.com weather page  In production now  Confirmed participants to-date (Irving, Biodiesel, Mansfield) 2 others pending  Final cost will be divided equally among the final number of participants  Final deadline is Oct. 27 th by noon  December will feature Christmas  Same cost, format and process  Participants still needed  Final deadline is Nov. 20 th by noon

Outreach Campaigns Fry Oil to Fuel: Collection and recycling of cooking oil  Biodiesel Inc., can provide free used oil collection points  Community signs up and indicates location & number of collection drums  Biodiesel Inc. provides up to 4 gal. drums per site  They drop off and pick up once full  They need help to check that only vegetable oils are deposited, not motor oil or other chemicals.

9 New Resources Available  From EPA: new Spanish-language DVD and educational program.  Chucho Salva el Dia (Chucho Saves the Day). The video is an educational tool to help children understand the importance of storm water protection in daily life. In the 17-minute movie, Chucho (a dog) and his owner go fishing to enjoy a beautiful day - only to discover their fishing spot has been polluted. They spend the afternoon investigating and learning how daily activities can cause pollution and steps they can take to protect water quality.  For more information or to request a free copy of this DVD, please contact Amadee Madril at madril.amadee@epa.gov.
