2. We need – HONESTY – TRANSPARENCY – INTEGRITY Not only from our Politicians and Leaders, but from you and me – WE THE PEOPLE

3. What Gets in the way? We are social creatures Alliances are naturally formed – Which causes division Push for a leader – Greed and lust for power Survivor 3

4. Founding Fathers knew this! Checks and balances 3 clear distinct branches of government –Executive –Legislative –Judiciary NO ONE LEADER!!! But as we can see, this still did not guarantee our individual freedom & rights 4

5. Founding Fathers Intent Was to create a government where WE THE PEOPLE, the common man, could remain unfettered, i.e. to live in freedom This was actually a noble cause -- for another person, for his/her right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, i.e. to care about others 5

6. Noble Cause We need to start with HONESTY, TRANSPARENCY, and INTEGRITY Again, not only from our politicians and leaders, but from you and me also – Must be engaged - participate – Must spend time educating yourself – Must not be easily persuaded – gullible – need to think out of the box – Must not give up 6

7. How? What keeps man honest? What causes a man to have integrity? What causes us to be transparent? It is acknowledgment of something greater than yourself. In the case of our Founding Fathers and thus our country, our U.S. Constitution, it was and is the Judeo-Christian belief in God.

8. We are up against all odds! Our government is not listening to us Our leaders have control of the money Our leaders have control of the media Our leaders have control over our lives Just as Washington faced incredible odds; so are we now

9. But we can win! Attend meetings, rallies and protests Monitor and/or Speak at meetings Get signatures on petitions Make phone calls, write letters But most importantly acknowledge God and ask for his help - develop your faith - decide that there is someone higher than yourself

10. We Can Win This is how George Washington won the war of independence. He took a knee – many times. Glenn Beck is calling on us to pray. Remember that with the little we put out, God will honor that and multiple it. It is scary times. We cant do it alone. We will not make it without His help.
