Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. Deuteronomy 6:5

TOTALLY HIS None of us can do it all, but all of us can give our all.

This is what the Lord says: When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my gracious promise to bring you back to this place. Jeremiah 29:10

WHAT GOD ACCOMPLISHED 1. The grip of idolatry was finally broken. 2. God established a presence among the Babylonians. 3. He raised up Daniel to a position of influence. 4. Nebuchadnezzar becomes a believer in God. 5. The Jews lived in relative peace in Babylon. 6. Judaism becomes a worldwide religion. 7. Daniel and his contemporaries introduce bible prophecy to the educated classes.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

Application *Don’t judge the end by the beginning. *God has reasons we can’t see. *We are prone to seeking quick fixes instead of waiting on the Lord.

God uses the hard experiences of life to bring us to the place where our trust and worship will be in Him alone – where we will be totally His!

Do we trust HIS PLAN?

Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:12-13

Conclusion What do you see? What you see determines what you seek. “The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes.” God has a bigger plan!
