Session 7a, 10 May 2007 IST-Africa 2007 Copyright 2007 EELA Project: IST-026409 Summary and Conclusions EELA is completely changing the perspective about e- Science in Latin America; This not only because of the number of grid sites, or CPUs, or Terabytes, but rather because: –we are "building" the human network creating/fostering scientific collaborations across the Atlantic; –we are raising the awareness of new ways of doing (e-)Science; –we are putting the seed for a long term sustainability of e- Infrastructures in the Region.
