3. System requirements Processor: minimum Pentium III
Memory: min. 128 MB RAM (256 MB RAM recommended)
Graphic: Resolution min. 800 x 600, 256 colors (recommended 1024 x 768, high color)
Hard disk: minimum 400 MB unused
OS: WINDOWS 2000 (with Service Pack 3) or WINDOWS XP (Service Pack 1).
Server must be configured corresponding to number of workstations

Confirmation and Installation of SQL
Confirmation dialogue whether Windows user should be set up now as WINLine user
Check for existing SQL installation  if no SQL server is available, the MSDE will be automatically installed
If the SQL server is installed on another PC, DO NOT INSTALL the MSDE. Point to the SQL server later on in the installation
Setup executes automatically the meso user login setup, database setups, as well as upsizing of the system tables and company data

Multiple Year Capability
Previous (up to Version 7.4):
One fiscal year and one company  one company number (e.g., 03ME, 02ME, 03FA, etc.)
From 8.0 onwards:
all fiscal years and all companies are (or can be)
in one repository!

15. Previous Year Company Adoption
Companies must be valid (of data version 8.x)
Select company to which previous years should be imported (adopted)
Only one level can exist, i.e., only single years can be imported into a company
You can delete a company with the “Delete Company“ menu item in ADMIN at any time
Only data that is NOT present in the current “main company“ are adopted – this means no multiple year tables (e.g., COST Journal!)

22. Patch Update / Info Portal
At first start up of program, the program tries to connect to the Mesonic server.
After initial startup, an interval of 7 days is set. This can be manually changed in menu item Parameter / Settings for up to 30 days)
