3 1.The U.S. has by far the largest column. I think that this is true because the U.S. has a large amount of vehicles that depend on oil each day and people able to afford it. 2.The country with the lowest is San Morino. This is probably because San Morino is a developing country with limited resources. 3.The 5 th highest is Norway and the 6 th highest is Cuba. Norway is developed and Cuba is developing. Norway is a relatively isolated country and only has about 5 million people whereas the U.S. has about 313 million. Cuba has a population of 11 million people, which means that it’s oil consumption would already be lower. Cuba is also developing, which means that they cannot just give money away until thy have a more stable economy. 4.The 7 th country is Moldova and the 8 th is Haiti. Both are developing countries. To get to the upper half of the rankings, Moldova will need to get a more stable economy. In order for Haiti to get to the upper half of the rankings, it also needs a more stable economy. 5.The Netherlands is a small country devoted to and reliant upon ships and overseas trading. Because of this, there is a lot of sea traffic around Dutch ports and a lot of their oil consumption comes from either the ships or the people driving to the port for work at the shipyard and loading docks.

5 1.The U.S. has the largest column. This is because the U.S. has the largest amount of people who use internet and computers each day and almost everyone who uses the internet has their own connection server. 2.The country with the smallest column is Moldova because it has the least number of people able to afford getting either a computer or a internet server. 3.The 5 th largest is Norway and the 6 th is Cuba. Norway is developed and Cuba is developing. Norway, although having a stable economy, has few needs for internet other than for business. Cuba has an uncertain economy and has few people who can afford internet or a computer. 4.The 7 th is Moldova and the 8 th is Haiti. Both are developing countries. To get to the upper half of the rankings, Moldova will need a more stable economy, because without a decent amount of money for each working citizen, there will be little use for internet and computers. For Haiti to get to the upper half of the rankings, it will also need a steadier economy. 5.San Morino is a small country with a pitiful economy, though that is not enough reason to say that they don’t need computer and internet service for when they have more money.

7 1.The country with the highest column is Cuba, which is surprising because Cuba is usually seen as a dangerous country with crime around every corner. 2.The country with the smallest column is San Morino, although the information is unknown, and I cannot say why it has the lowest column. 3.The 5 th country is the U.S. and the 6 th is Moldova. The U.S. is developed and Moldova is developing. The U.S., although it is always seen as a large powerhouse, is most likely in 5 th because there are more people planning to become engineers and soldiers than doctors. Moldova is most likely in 6 th place because it has only 3 million people and, if the U.S. is anything to learn by, there are more interesting professions than becoming a doctor. 4.The 7 th country is South Korea and the 8 th is Haiti. South Korea is developed and Haiti is developing. South Korea is likely in 7 th because although they have a stable economy, there are people who don’t want to be doctors because of the amount of work you have to do*. Haiti is in 8 th place most likely because of the same reasons, although they do not have as stable an economy as South Korea. 5.The country that stands out to me the most is Burundi, with only.03 physicians/1,000 people. This stands out because in Burundi there are 10 million people and in Haiti there are 9 million, so shouldn’t the number of physicians in Burundi be greater than the number in Haiti? * 1 st Bachelor’s Degree,2 nd Master’s Degree, 3 rd Doctorate Degree.
