7 1.The directive was given: BYOT by Fall 2.We talked to teachers –Had a focus group of teachers sit down and discuss the opportunities of BYOT 3.Controlled Pilot –Wireless Hot Spots in HS –Cell Phones –120 Teachers on staff, 40 volunteered Our Story

13 8.BYOT Live! (Second Semester) –Turned on the wireless in the HS on January 15, 2012 –Available IP range of 255 devices filled in 90 minutes. (1800 students, 200 staff) –IP range is now 65,000 addresses –Collecting data and observing use in the classroom (focus groups, surveys) Our Story
