3 Teacher: Could you explain what the international cultural communication is? Our answer was: The international cultural communication is a dialogue of cultures, culture of communication and mutual understanding of people from different countries

4 Teacher: What opportunity has the international cultural communication got? Our answer was: The international cultural communication gives the chance to communicate different cultures in different languages

5 Teacher: What disturbs successful international cultural communication, today? Our answer was:  A lot of people consider own culture as the center of the world and scale for all others. This phenomenon is called "ethnocentrism". As a rule, ethnocentrism prevents the person to estimate adequately, adequately to accept and be tolerant to representatives of other culture

6  The meeting of two cultures can be compared to concepts "internal" and "external", and "others". "Internal" means heat, security, confidence, "external" - menacing, others, unknown. Some people entering the communicative act with the representative of foreign culture, at psychological level, incite obviously negatively

7 Teacher: What is it necessary to make for the maintenance a successful international cultural communication, in your opinion? Our answer was:  To teach people to communicate (orally and in writing)  To teach to make, create and not just to understand foreign speech  To teach to break a cultural barrier therefore foreign languages have to be studied in indissoluble unity with the world and culture of the people speaking these languages

8  It is necessary not only to train the person in a foreign language, but also to teach him to respect and to appreciate culture of these people

9 Teacher: What can you personally offer the age-mates for the maintenance a successful international cultural communication, today? Our answer was: To go deep into learning of foreign language not only at the English lesson, but also during the extra classes

10  To get to know culture of people of the countries of studied language using encyclopedias, the Internet, music, painting, architecture, reading literary works in the original  To communicate in the social networks with age- mates from other countries  To participate in the program on an exchange of school students and students

11  To take part in competitions which are offered by Irkutsk Linguistic University  To cooperate with the museum of Taltsy for giving excursions in a foreign language  To invite foreign guests into our school
