These are the very Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life.” John 5.37-39

11 Why doesn’t our nature change once we’ve experience God’s redemptive work? For example, why does our thinking start with what we don’t have? How can we alter our thinking to begin with what we do have?

12 Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires... The mind governed by the flesh is death... The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God. Romans 8 5-8

17 Our present with God

23 “... all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.” Colossians 1.17-18
