4. New Right - resurgent conservative movement of the 1970’s Unfunded mandate -programs required by the federal government but not paid for Moral Majority -founded by Jerry Falwell a political group working for religious goals

12. What led to the Operation of Desert Storm and how was it different than America’s previous wars? Iraq invaded Kuwait and resulted in the coalition forces (37 Nations) launching a massive joint attack on the Iraqi forces defeating them in a short period of time. There was a use of massive air assault followed by land troops that overran Saddam Hussein’s forces. Different from Vietnam this was a joint effort rather than just America and it ended very quickly. It was supported by Americans much more strongly by the public.
