10 Clients The SBDC serves small businesses, pre-venture clients, and entrepreneurs. These small businesses comprise more than 99% of the business firms in the state. Over 3.7 million of the state’s workforce of 5.7 million are employed by small businesses, and this segment of the economy represents the greatest opportunity for job and other economic growth.
