2. Mathematics Instructional Model CPM 1 /FFA 1 0 The math curriculum follows the state’s Common Core State Standards (CCSS) for 6 th grade. The standards provide clear expectations for instruction, assessment, and student work. The standards isolate the skills students need for problem-solving, reasoning, communicating, and making connections with other information. 0 The following on-line source is available for students to access homework practice at home: http://www.cpm.org/students/homework/ http://www.cpm.org/students/homework/ 0 Classwork includes checking of homework, concept/skills instruction, practice problems, problem-solving, and performance tasks. 0 Assessments occur at the end of each unit. A Homework Record comes home at the end of each Unit Test. Attached are homework sheets and a matrix that summarizes the result of a unit test.
