3 Progress Update – Homegroup Membership: Target: 200 members of St Peter’s in homegroups  Currently 172 people in homegroups Action: Continue face-to-face and direct e-mail chasing Action: Homegroup themed service at church building Action: Identify barriers to people joining a homegroup Action: Ongoing dialogue with people on ‘watch lists’ Action: Advertise homegroups before Sunday services Action: Create a short homegroup promotional video Action: Highlight the range of homegroup styles Action: Issue personal invitations Action: Encourage former homegroup members to find a suitable group

4 Progress Update – Homegroup Expansion: Target: 4 more homegroups established & all current spaces filled  No more homegroups yet established  2 new homegroup co-leaders identified  Approximately 14 spaces to be filled Action: Work with existing homegroup leaders to identify future leaders (Co-leader is natural successor to take on the homegroup or to start up a new homegroup) Action: Fully equip new leaders, including skills training & developmental opportunities Action: Advertise which groups have spaces

5 Progress Update – New Church Members: Target: New members of the church routinely directed towards a homegroup as part of their welcome  Some new members approached Action: Produce contact cards to be placed on seats Action: Issue leaflet giving details of current homegroups Action: Develop welcome packs for new people (including local area information: schools, doctors, sports facilities, etc.)

6 Progress Update – Homegroup Network: Target: The Homegroup Leaders Network (HLN) meeting regularly & starting to share resources & ideas  Second meeting held with good take-up Action: Hold termly meeting Action: Leaders ‘buddy-up’ with leaders of other groups, to share resources and pray Action: Use homegroups to advertise Alpha / bring guests
