3 Flights and Distance Working with a partner, and with your boss's approval, select the country. Next find out the capital of the country and the two largest cities. How far are these three cities from one another? Use the map app to figure out. List these cities and the distance between them. How is it measured— miles, kilometers? Can you covert it? Give it a try. Do you need an app? Figure out what city most airlines fly into. Is it one of the three you have listed? If yes, you need to book a flight--flying out on Sunday and returning on Friday. Look for the best price--give all the information including airline, connections, price, etc. to your boss. If not, what city is it and book a flight into this city. Let your boss know.

4 Foreign Language Since it is not a prominent English speaking country, you need to create a list of phrases that you will use while you are there. Start with phrases you need once you get off the plane. This will be discussed more and your list will become longer as you do other parts of this trip. Then, using the translator app, you will convert these phrases from English to the country’s language. Currency Found out what they use as their currency and how it compares to the American dollar. What the exchange rate? Which is worth more? Country’s Flag Copy a picture of the country’s flag—what does it look like and are the colors?

5 Using numbers—calculate the following: In the city that you are flying into, find a hotel—give the name and cost.per night Convert the price—give in both currencies.
