2 2 Mark Horney, Director, EMBA Career Management Mark Horney oversees the EMBA Career Management team and initiatives, including strategy development for programming and services. Advises EMBA students on all aspects of career management and the job search process. Leads and facilitates workshops and other events with members of Career Management team. Responsible for developing relationships with EMBA constituents, including alumni, corporate sponsors, and hiring organizations. Mark has corporate work experience in a variety of industries, including investment banking, healthcare, and media. He was formerly an Associate Director in MBA Career Services at Columbia Business School, where he advised students on all aspects of career development, managed corporate relations, developed career management programming, and oversaw the on-campus recruiting program. He has also worked in private practice as a career and executive coach. Mark is a licensed psychologist and holds a BA from Yale University, an MBA from Columbia Business School, and a PhD in clinical psychology from the City University of New York.

3 3 Leslie Hunt, Associate Director, Outreach EMBA Career Management As the Associate Director, Outreach for EMBA Career Management Leslie is responsible for building relationships with Experienced-Level recruiters to connect the experienced marketplace with opportunities to source Columbia Business School Alumni and EMBA talent. In addition, Leslie serves as a Career Management Advisor to the Private Equity Program and advises EMBA students on the on-campus recruiting process for entry level jobs. Leslie brings with her an impressive track record of business development and a strong history of success in increasing returns on investment and building strategic partnerships to achieve growth for both nonprofit and for-profit organizations. Most recently, she oversaw business development for The Center for Arts Education and she currently serves as Treasurer and Member of the Strategic Planning Committee for New York Women in Communications. Prior to attending business school, Leslie served in a variety of recruiting and human resources roles. While an MBA student she stretched her finance muscles during a study abroad at the Indian Institute of Management in Calcutta. Since 2004, she has served as a New York Women in Communications Board Member in a variety of capacities including VP of Career Development, VP of Programming and Chair of the Matrix Awards Program Committee. Leslie holds a BFA, from the University of Michigan and an MBA in Finance and International Business from Baruch College.

4 4 Mico Zinty, Associate Director, EMBA Career Management Mico Zinty is the Associate Director of EMBA Career Management where she advises EMBA students on the job search process as well as all aspects of career management including internal career mobility, achieving work/life fit etc. Mico also develops and leads workshops and manages the EMBA resume book and the development of COIN, the EMBA career management website. Mico earned her MBA from Columbia Business School (’93) and BA from Barnard College. Mico has over 10 years experience in executive coaching and career management training and development and has worked with organizations including Merrill Lynch, Xerox, the American Management Association and Columbia Business School. At the University of Maryland Business School, Mico oversaw the MBA Career Services where she managed corporate relations and provided coaching and training to MBA students. Prior to attending Columbia Business School, she worked in various marketing and business development functions in China and the U.S. with companies doing business in the People's Republic of China and Asia. Mico speaks Mandarin Chinese and is a native French speaker.

5 5 Ellis Chase, Consultant, EMBA Career Management Ellis Chase has been a consultant to the EMBA Program for the past several years and is part of the EMBA Career Management team. He maintains a private practice in career and executive coaching, career management consulting, and training and development. His clients have included Lauder, Goldman Sachs, The Gartner Group, Purdue Pharma, Swiss Re America, Penguin Putnam, American Civil Liberties Union, Hess, and Citigroup. His employment history includes several years as Managing Director at Right Management Consultants and Systems Staffing Officer with the Chase Manhattan Bank. Mr. Chase has appeared on CNN, CNBC, and several radio programs, and has been a regular contributor to career websites and newspapers. He holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees from New York University.

6 6 Jennifer Rosenthal, Consultant, EMBA Career Management Jennifer Rosenthal has been a consultant to Columbia Business School’s Career Management office for the past few years and has been working exclusively for EMBA Career Management for the past six months. Jennifer also does independent consulting and her clients include NYU Stern School of Business, The Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College and American Express. Prior to her consulting work, Jennifer was the Director of Recruiting for the Investment Banking Division of Bear Stearns and she also worked at American Express in marketing for the small business division. Jennifer holds a BA from the University of Michigan, an MA from the New School University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
