Engineers Without Borders Last years international placements included: India - Environmental reporting, rainwater harvesting and journalism Nepal - Eco-stoves and solar panels Sri Lanka - Alternative energy and plastic recycling Malaysia - Solar energy systems Rwanda - Water collection and distribution Nigeria - Village road construction Brazil - Flow measurement systems Ecuador - Water purification and wood stoves Suriname - Solar power and incinerators Spain - Renewable energy programs

What will you get out of being a member of EWB Brighton? Starting an EWB branch is challenging, but it is also one of the most interesting and rewarding things you can do while at university: YYou will learn a great deal about development work. YYou will gain valuable experience of managing a charity. YYou will meet and work with the people who run organisations such as REDR, ITDG and other major NGOs. YYou can gain experience of PR, fundraising, financial management and many other valuable skills. YYou can have a real impact on the lives of people in the developing world. YYou will be involved in forming and expanding an exciting and important new charity. YYou may have the opportunity to travel overseas and take part in development work directly. YYou will meet many like-minded people and have many very enjoyable experiences.
