5 MALAISE TRAP tent-like structure trapping flying insects
Hymenoptera & Diptera Insects fly into net & hit middle mesh Fly upward into collecting bottle containing alcohol Collecting bottle with alcohol

6 SWEEP NET not difficult but requires practice to become efficient
the net handle directed forward and the net opening pointed sideways zig-zag

7 LIGHT TRAP Nocturnal insects fluorescent bulbs
or bulbs emit ultraviolet wavelengths (black lights)
