1 The Negotiation of Curriculum Learners need to understand what they are doing and why. Give learners the opportunities to create their own goals. Encourage students to use English outside of the classroom. Show students different ways of learning.(ex: memorizing) Help learners to know what helps them to learn the best. Give the learners choices of what they want to do in the classroom. Let more advanced learners serve as tutors to others who might need more help.

2 Project Work Project work helps students to get involved with their learning process. 1.Learners are presented with topics by the teacher. 2.Learners put together a final outcome in the form of a menu, brochure, demonstration, or role play. 3.Learners show how they will accomplish their goal in a from of an outline, flow diagram, or project proposal.

3 Project Work 4.Teacher will present the activities necessary for gathering information. 5.Learners gather information both outside and inside the classroom. 6.Teachers and learners discuss how the information will be compiled and analyzed. 7.Teacher and learners discuss the expectations of the final product. 8.Teachers and learners reflect on and evaluate the project.
